WEIL JETZT KRIEG IST...
„Weil jetzt Krieg ist...“, tells the story of a flight from the war in Ukraine. Based on a workshop with Ukrainian children, various aspects of their escape experiences were collected. These stories are filled with emotional moments, heartbreaking events, and sorrowful memories that should never be forgotten. From these insights, a unique children's book narrative was developed. The book aims to foster empathy in young readers while raising awareness that growing up in peace is a privilege that should never be taken for granted.
The illustrations were created through independent digital drawing, while the text was thoughtfully written from scratch to capture an authentic and childlike tone in the story.
