INSOMANIAC.
The short film "Insomaniac." explores the omnipresent noise in our surroundings.
It reflects on how, even in moments of external silence, our mind never fully comes to rest—whether due to inner noise or loud thoughts. In today's overstimulated world, "true" silence is hard to find. The theme of the film is based on personal observations and experiences.
Emma, the protagonist, seeks a quiet night’s rest, but the sounds of her apartment keep disrupting her sleep. Although she manages to escape the external noise, she is soon confronted by the internal noise of her restless mind.
The film is a frame-by-frame animation, digitally drawn.
